The beauty of Breeze Digital Signage is how incredibly simple and user friendly it is for each of our clients. The process is straightforward: Upload content, or create content in the editor, create the playlist, save the content as a playlist, then publish to the player of choice for your content to then show on the screen. However, there are some really awesome Breeze features that are built in, allowing you to go even further with your content management and visual communications. Read on to learn about three of our favorites.
When you have multiple users and departments in your Breeze server, it can be overwhelming to attempt to keep it all organized. Sure, file folder groups help, but they don’t mitigate the situation completely. We have a solution built inside of Breeze Digital Signage, called User Permissions/Access Restrictions. Inside, you can choose down to the individual playlist what a specific user can see, utilize, and open within Breeze. This allows the entire team to have a clean, usable workspace that is organized and well thought out. This section is found on the left-side tool bar, then by choosing “Users”. Now, you can create a new user, then set their permissions. Be sure to send an email notification, so they get an invite to the server!
Does your marketing team have a specific on-brand look they want to stick with for your digital signage, but you struggle to keep everything just perfect and on par with their standards? Have a zone layout you love to use, but you also want to keep your old playlists in tact? Playlist templates are the perfect solution. Here, you can create a playlist in editor, getting it perfectly how you desire, then head to the menu in the top right corner. Choose “Save As Template” then name the template as you’d like. Then, go to create a new playlist. Instead of choosing a zone layout, click “Custom Templates”. Your new template will be there, ready to create with again and again! Once you use your template, you can save your work as a playlist, then publish to your player. Voila, a great starting point for your content!
